The plus size community is a great place to be, and I love meeting bloggers and writers who are also based in New York City!
To celebrate these babes, here’s a roundup of 10 our favorite plus size blogger babes who have supported Plus BKLYN in our first year!
1. Jessica Torres
Jessica was one of the first people to walk through the doors of Plus Bklyn, and her insight and support has been incredibly helpful in our first year of business. We LOVEEEEE her use of reds and pinks on her Insta!
2. Lexie of A0K
Lexie has been a longtime supporter of Plus BKLYN, and we love her for it! This business witch has a super fun Facebook group, full of plus size babes sharing everything from their favorite place to buy a plus size gown to heavier topics like flying while fat.
3. Marcy Cruz
Marcy is a light wherever she goes! I met Marcy right when the shop was opening, and she has connected me with countless people in the plus community. Marcy is a speaker, blogger — and she was recently signed as a fit model! GO MARCY!
4. Moet Cristal
Moet is a plus size model, blogger, photographer — okay, she’s a plus size CREATIVE! Moet has participated in a few of our “Blogger Bestie” photoshoot, and it’s incredible to watch her work. She’ll be laughing and chatting with folks, and then WHAM! when the camera is on her, she GETS THE SHOT!
5. Nicolette Mason
Okay, DUH everyone loves Nicolette. This bi-coastal babe has a place in Brooklyn and LA. She has provided so much support and encouragement — thank you for your support, Nicollete. ❤
6. Liz Black
Liz has written about Plus BKLYN in various fashion outlets, and she recently put on a MASSIVE event for the plus community and plus brands. Liz is creating community on multiple fronts, and we so appreciate it!
7. Shereece
Shereece is a blogger over at Fatshion Forward, and she first met the PBK team at one of our blogger photoshoots. Shereece was PREPARED, with shoe changes, accessories and her own camera!
8. Brianne Huntsman
Okay, so *technically* Brianne, AKA “The Huntswoman”, doesn’t live in NYC (yet), but she’s here so much she should really get an apartment! Brianne has modeled for us, written about us and regularly sends plus babes our way.
9. Constance Smith
Constance is a STUNNING plus size model, who we met at one of our “Blogger Bestie” photoshoots (I’m noticing a pattern here). Constance is so fun to work with, and we’re excited to see her take on the modeling world.
10. Laura Delarato
Almost last on the list, but honestly first in our hearts is Laura Delarato. Laura is a plus size blogger and model, who also writes about sex, wellness and travel. Laura has modeled for Plus BKLYN, written about us in various places — and is such a support! We’re obsessed with her aesthetic and work.
11. Essie Golden
I met Essie on a panel Elomi Lingerie put on last year, and I loved chatting with her! Essie talked about her Golden Confidence pool party, and how they’ve helped plus babes network (and take super cute selfies) for years!
