SALES ASSOCIATE (2-3 days)

Plus BKLYN is NYC's go-to destination for second-hand plus-size fashion, and we're looking for someone who can jump in ASAP. We are looking for a retail associate available to start immediately on Saturdays and Sundays (12–8 PM), with the schedule shifting to Monday through Wednesday (12–8 PM) starting this fall. We’d also look to this person for occasional flexibility to swap, cover, or fill in as needed on other days. 

We're looking for someone who's fashion-obsessed, loves vintage and second-hand clothing, and genuinely cares about the plus community. Our ideal candidate has a strong commitment to ethical fashion, puts customers first, and brings excellent communication skills and a real team player mentality. You should have a solid understanding of plus-size style and current trends … and feel comfortable wearing a lot of hats in a small, busy shop.

You might be a great fit if you are/have:

• 1-2 years of prior retail experience (experience in plus-size fashion is a plus)

• Experience with buying and selling vintage or second-hand items

• Comfortable in front of a camera and willing to engage in social media content

• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping customers

• Proactive with a positive, 'can-do' attitude

• Keen eye for fashion and outfit coordination

• Highly organized and adept at multitasking

• Flexibility to cover additional shifts, rotate schedules, or trade days as needed

Responsibilities include:

• In-store sales support & exceptional customer service

• Merchandising, cleaning & maintaining our physical space

• Processing and packaging online orders

• Buying-in, grading & pricing clothing

• Responding to customers online during daily story sales

Compensation: $20/hr starting pay

Location: Greenpoint Brooklyn

Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays 12–8 PM to start; shifts move to Mon–Wed 12–8 PM in fall
