SALES ASSOCIATE FOR SECOND-HAND RETAIL BOUTIQUE (~4 days)

Plus BKLYN is NYC’s best destination for second-hand plus size clothes and we’re seeking a passionate fashion enthusiast to join our team 4 days a week. We’re looking for someone who can commit to Monday, Weds, Thurs & Friday shifts and will primarily support our in-store sales efforts.  Our ideal candidate is  fashion obsessed with a love for vintage and second-hand clothing, a strong commitment to ethical fashion and sustainability, excellent communication skills, a team player mentality, always puts customers first and has a deep understanding of the plus community and current trends.

You might be a great fit if you are/have:

• 1-2 years of prior retail experience (experience in plus-size fashion is a plus)

• Experience with buying and selling vintage or second-hand items

• Comfortable in front of a camera and willing to engage in social media content

• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping customers

• Proactive with a positive, 'can-do' attitude

• Keen eye for fashion and outfit coordination

• Highly organized and adept at multitasking

• Flexibility to cover additional shifts, rotate schedules, or trade days as needed

Responsibilities include:

• In-store sales support & exceptional customer service

• Merchandising, cleaning & maintaining our physical space

• Processing and packaging online orders

• Buying-in, grading & pricing clothing

• Responding to customers online during daily story sales

Compensation: $17/hr starting pay

Location: Greenpoint Brooklyn

Shifts: 8 hour shifts from 12-8pm on Mon, Weds, Thurs & Fri
