As you may know, we're opening a new store in April – that's 4x the size! (Read about the new store here.)
As part of our new store, we'll be offering a LOT more resale (plus size vintage and "thrift" finds). If you're interested in selling pieces from your wardrobe to Plus BKLYN, here's what you need to know:
1. New with Tags, Vintage and Gently Used Clothing
Clothing should be stylish and gently worn. Clothing with stains, holes or runs will not be accepted. Before bringing in a piece ask, "Would someone buy a piece of this quality?"
Plus Bklyn will also accept clothing that's "new with tags," meaning you bought it – but weren't able to return it to the store!
Additionally:
- Clothes should be clean and free of odor (smoke, perfume, body odor)
- No pet hair
- In season! (ie no swimsuits in January!)
We are also looking to purchase plus size vintage (bring out your sparkly 1980's dresses!)
2. Plus Size Clothes - Sizes 14-30
We're only looking for plus size clothing (no shoes or accessories), in sizes 14-30. We are especially interested in buying pieces over a size 24!
3. Setting an Appointment
To manage demand, we will set "consignment appointments," for people to come in and bring their clothes for review!
Consigners will bring in their clothes, and leave them at the store. Review will take 30 minutes to a few hours, depending on the number of customers in-store! You can shop around while you wait, or we can give you a call when your offer is ready.

4. Payment
You will be offered cash or in-store credit for the clothing that Plus BKLYN purchases. If there are pieces that Plus BKLYN doesn't decide to purchase, you can leave them at Plus BKLYN to be donated or take them home with you!
